With dates set for Bass Canyon, here’s our wish list for the lineup

Excision is gearing up for his 3rd annual Bass Canyon festival at the Gorge this August. Regarded as the Lost Lands of the west coast, we can’t wait to return for three nights of raging.

After unveiling his Thunderdome audiovisual experience at the end of last month, expectations for Bass Canyon have only been heightened. Unfortunately, August is still in the distance and we won’t have an official lineup for a while. However, in a surprise announcement last week, Excision confirmed he’ll play B2B with Illenium.

While we wait for the rest of the lineup to drop, we’re hoping it will include this wish list of artists for Bass Canyon 2020.

Headliners

As far as major headliners of the festival go, Excision has pulled together an impressive lineup of some of the biggest dubstep and bass music names across the country. Last year, that included the likes of Flux Pavilion, Subtronics, and NGHTMRE. This year, we’d love for Zeds Dead, Rusko, Liquid Stranger, or G Jones to head to the Gorge. Each of those four particular artists have forged such different flavors of electronic music, it would be legendary to catch all three at one of the best venues in the world.

Other supporting acts

The past year or two have seen an explosion of bass music, particularly here in the Northwest. With so many new artists and genre expansion, Bass Canyon has a swath of talent to choose bookings for this year. After a stellar set at Lost Lands 2019, Hekler would be a great addition. Rising DJs Whipped Cream and Lucii have both had phenomenal years in EDM, which we’d love to see debut at Bass Canyon this year.

Hoping to see a return

A few artists have played the past two years at Bass Canyon, and we’d love to see them in the third year as well. That includes SVDDEN DEATH, who’s also made headlines for his current tour. Other veterans, including Spag Heddy, Dion Timmer, and Blunts & Blondes have both performed the last two years.

Tickets on sale soon, additional lineup to be announced

Bass Canyon can’t come fast enough this year for us. Set to commence August 28th-30th, we’ll be eagerly waiting for a lineup in the coming months until then. While the Illenium B2B set announcement is getting our expectations high, Excision is sure to corral a spectacular rest of the lineup for the third year of the festival.

Tickets go on sale this Wednesday, March 4th at noon so be sure to snag tickets! Are there any artists on your dream wish list for this festival?
