Seattle is a bass town, pure and simple. Sure, we love our trance and house music. But when it comes down to it, bassheads are everywhere in our neck of the Northwest. Needless to say, when an artist like Apashe gets announced for a show, those very same bassheads assemble quickly. Come March 27th, Apashe will be blowing through Foundation Nightclub to bring his uniquely grimey brand of dubstep.
Originally starting out as a sound designer after studying electroacoustics at Concordia University, his diverse background has made him into a luminary of bass music, right up there in the pantheon with talents like Excision and Datsik. Needless to say, he’s a must-see for Substance Wednesday. To sweeten the pot, we’re offering a chance for one lucky winner to grab a meet and greet with Apashe himself (entry to the event is free before 11). Just enter below, cross your fingers, and brush up on your bass! In the meantime, you can get on the guest list here, and join the Facebook event over in this direction.
