Social media has been buzzing today after Above & Beyond said to “stop everything” because they had something to tell us on Tuesday, October 14th. There was a lot of speculation as to what the announcement was going to be. Some people even made outrageous statements about the boys retiring from the music scene. Well there is no need to worry, and plenty of reason to celebrate.

Above and Beyond has announced the release of a brand new album on the 14th entitled We Are All We Need. This will be their fifth full length album. The very popular Sticky Fingers will be on the album along with 15 other tracks, including Blue Sky Action and a new title track featuring Zoe Johnston. Don’t get too excited just yet because we will have to wait until the 20th of January 2015 according to iTunes, who may or may not have jumped the gun sharing the existence of We Are All We Need with the world.
But fear not, as more than likely Above & Beyond will be playing a whole host of the tracks on the live stream of ABGT 100 on the 18th. To top it off, iTunes accidentally leaked a preliminary tracklist you can see for yourself here.
UPDATE: Jono, Paavo, and Tony have now officially announced the album release on Twitter! Pre-orders for We Are All We Need are available on iTunes here. Additionally, they’ve provided more info on the release of the first single from the album this Friday (laid out below).
