Basement Jaxx
Ahh, how could we forget good old Basement Jaxx? Remember the incredibly creepy music video of human-monkey crossbreeds performing at an animal testing lab and wrecking havoc? Despite the odd visual elements of the video, their hit song of 2001, Where’s Your Head At is one for the books. Basement Jaxx are a British electronic duo consisting of Felix Buxton and Simon Ratcliffe. The two are still performing today and just recently released a 2014 track titled Never Say Never. They first rose to popularity in the late 1900’s. They surfaced from the underground house scene, are regular transatlantic club chart-toppers and won the BRIT award for Best Dance Act in 2002 and 2004. You’ve got to hand it to these guys for creativity.
