Finally, we’re brought back to Vancouver and into one of our favorite venues in the city. A little partial to this one, Joffrey has been a photo resident at Red Room every Saturday for Digital Motion’s Subculture Saturdays run by Blake McRitchie. Digital Motion Events have been bringing the “fiyah” every single Saturday for the past 3 years with a combination of local and international talent.
Red Room has hosted countless holiday events, and those who attended this year Breaks-O-Ween will tell you it was another banger. Halloween already brings out the festival vibe in lots of us with all the costumes, but pair that with the funk sounds of Sticky Buds and you’ve got the making for a night to remember.
California native Tanner Petula, also known as Getter, returned to Vancouver for another sold out night of heavy bass. Be sure to check out our article featuring the official recap video which also include video from Joffrey.
EPROM is known widely for his diverse and funky sets that combine hip-hop and dubstep. His live mixing remixes and overall vibe gives for a unique sound in dance music. Once again, Red Room was host to another night of incredible music proving why it’s one of our favorites.
Lastly, Dieselboy brought his Drum and Bass sound to the Red Room’s pK sound system. “The Destroyer” was fully prepared to bring the bass and rocked the stage until the early morning.
Joffrey has been a festival and club photographer since 2008. He’s also involved in the organization and safety aspects of a number of festivals as well as a team lead and fundraiser for festivals both in BC and along the western seaboard south of the boarder. He works in film stills & EPK as well.
If you want to know more about his event/portrait photography please contact him via email at Smile@Joffrey.ca, and don’t forget to check out his website to see more photo from past events.
We’d like to thank Joffrey for allowing us to showcase a few of his favorite shots from the year and look forward to seeing him at our next stop in BC. We’re excited to begin covering more events this coming year in British Columbia and hope we see plenty of the DMNW fans there. Be sure to share your favorite snap from this year to our Facebook or tag us on Instagram don’t forget to give us a follow on Twitter as well!

Avid adventure, and full time wild thing. Lover of all types of music but hold those that make me want to shake my rumpus close to my heart.
