Another long runner in the outdoor bass music festival scene is Motion Notion just outside Golden, BC. The drive up is one of the most majestic drives on a clear day through Rogers Pass, and in true British Columbia fashion, show the beauty of this providence. Motion Notion has been running for almost as long as Shambhala, however in a previous location in Alberta.

Considerably smaller than Shambhala; about a third the size, but boasting 3 main stages and a number of “renegade stages”. Stage production is certainly not an after thought and with the joining of a stellar line-up there is no shortage of good vibes here.
