Here at Dance Music Northwest, we love to find new local artists and spotlight their unique sound. Seattle rapper/singer/producer Kellan. (Yes, his artist name has a period after it) was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. With inspiration from many sounds in the PNW, Kellan., has made a name for himself in the Seattle local scene.
With collaboration from some of your Seattle favorites such as TeZATalks in a song titled Cut Throat, D. Mikey and VeRich, Suicide Blonde, the new Kellan. album will have you dying for a listen. The 10 track album was executive produced by Qreepz who is a local music legend. The album will be available to the public on December 18th on SoundCloud under Kellanrad. The album release show will be at Conor Byrne Pub on December 20th.
Kellan. described the album as “showcasing themes of love, anxiety/depression, self-reflection, hope, loneliness and isolation over hip-hop, electropop, and chillwave type beats”. With inspirations from Logic, Mac Miller, Atmosphere, Pretty Lights and Odesza, this perfect blend of Hip Hop and EDM is something that we are ready to hear.
