Bamboo Festival is returning to beautiful Costa Rica this February for a fourth year of bass in paradise. Bamboo promises a completely unique and “tastefully curated” destination festival experience, setting it apart from the rest. The first phase of the lineup certainly lives up to those expectations, promising a truly unique musical experience in the heart of sound system culture.
AC Slater and Mr. Carmack top the bill, promising to bring incredible skill and unforgettable sets to the table. The other large names on the lineup include Zeke Beats and DMVU, creating an impressive array of skill and styles to round out the experience. Other talent includes JVMPKICKS, Abstract Sonance, and Moniker, among many others. In addition to the wide array of dance music artists, we’ll get a unique selection of Costa Rican dancehall and hip hop artists.
The level of thought and attention to detail for the first phase of this lineup is truly incredible. It’s almost hard to believe that a second phase awaits us later in 2018. Add in festival takeovers by labels like Night Bass, Sleeveless Records, and Deep Dark and Dangerous, and Bamboo promises a truly mind-blowing experience for bass lovers.
