Jake Crocker is an emerging artist from Seattle with a very specific Pop-EDM style. His claim to stardom began at the young age of 17 when he was given the opportunity to produce a track with notable Seattle artist Raz Simone, he then went on tour with Raz where they visited 52 cities in 58 days.
After his quick rise up the success ladder, Jake started producing tracks with Saint Claire, Ronnie Dylan, and Sam Lachow. However, Jake is now taking his producing skills to the next level with music of his own; Gone marks the debut of Jake Crocker and features vocals from Kellie Rose.
Gone is a melancholic Pop-EDM fusion, and Kellie delivers vocals that tug at the heartstrings and provides a glimpse into what happens when love no longer exists. The track starts off with ghostly synth chords, setting up the listener with an eerie and somewhat sad vibe; the vocals are as ethereal as they are gritty. A heavy, pop-centric chorus sets up the mood of the track, which is that a relationship has gone off the rails and no longer works.
Have a listen below and let us know what you think about Jake’s debut! We look forward to seeing what more Jake has to offer the rich music scene in Seattle.
