Not often is a new album an awe-inspiring audio experience, but the newly released See Without Eyes by The Glitch Mob is just that. The seasoned electronic trio slayed us once again with their talent of creating a musical, yet cinematic experience. This album reminds us that The Glitch Mob are an unstoppable storm of creative energy.
The very first track Enter Formless features Rituals Of Mine and returns to a breathtaking format familiar to many followers of The Glitch Mob. Utilizing the striking vocals of Terra Lopez, the two groups collide into a masterful mix to move and entice you. It sets a great premise for the rest of the album, which delivers a seamless adventure throughout.

Following is on of the singles of the album, Take Me With You. Released a month ago, it teased fans with it’s familiar stepping beat and the glitched vocals of Arama. It’s a whole new take on a recognizable flavor that is truly The Glitch Mob’s style.
Other tracks are less familiar to fans, but none the less breathtaking. Disintegrate Slowly leaves one driven to move to a dark, electro theme that amps your spirit in a way not seen since Love Death Immortality. It’s not dissimilar from Come Closer, a track that pumps the soul full of drumbeat energy and the force of bass driven to rock you.
Heavy hitting, yet mesmerizing tracks that teased fans are ever present in this album. The soft and empowering vocals of Elohim supply the song I Could Be Anything with a perfectly paired expression of transforming energy. It casts a spell that pulls all who hear into a trance like state, one where you must follow the beat.
Integrated on this journey are other softer tracks like Interbeing. This song plays a deeper and more intimate role in the grand scheme of the album, with a slower, but ever present beat progressing through the soul. A soft hum beckons you to follow the beat. Described in a Facebook post, the artists tell us themselves:
“This album is no longer just ours anymore. It belongs to you now, and you are just as much a part of it as we are.”
The album ends in a few choice tracks that ease the landing back to Earth. Go Light is an easily memorable track to send your hyperspace drive back into our galaxy. Released just this week, it gave fans a taste as to how this new album might be. It was the latest of singles released off the album and maps a clear path of dancing for all who listen.
The album had to end with an introspective journey customary to The Glitch Mob. We’ve seen it before with Starve the Ego, Feed the Soul on Drink The Sea and Beauty of the Unhidden Heart from Love Death Immortality. This album is no different, seeing the album capped off with the melodious track Way Out Is In. The song keeps a sense of hope as you return to your home planet and think about what you’ve been through.
The album is a masterful addition to their discography. The three have proven their abilities all over again. Soon enough there will be remixes, there will be recognition, and the dance music scene will hopefully recover from an impact that has surely changed it. Their world tour heads to the PNW this month, and we look forward to seeing the spectacle.
