Sirensceol, just recently having dropped his first EP on Beatport, has been on a fire path since we first interviewed him earlier this year. As his sound develops, the comparisons to Skrillex and Madeon keep getting more profound. Not just in style, but in level of production. Stephen’s latest effort, remixing Kevin Drew and Taryn Manning’s Summer Ashes, is no exception.
Far brighter and more upbeat than the original, the Sirensceol version of Summer Ashes is less about the remnants of what comes after a summer love and more about the carefree, no fucks given excitement that accompanies its beginning.
Groovy, sing-along, energetic dance tracks? We can’t think of a better way to relive our summertime.
