Celebrating its 14th anniversary, the 2017 Dooms Night lineup was revealed Monday and it’s devilishly good! Set to take place Friday, October 27th, at the Pacific Coliseum located just outside downtown Vancouver, British Columbia, dance music legends Tiesto and Don Diablo lead the pack. Also joining the sinister fray: Headhunterz, who recently announced a return to hardstyle, Twonk Team General Brillz, and Vancouver’s own, the smooth sounding Daijo. With a diverse lineup like this, Dooms Night is a worthy competitor to Freaknight in Seattle- also taking place on the 27th.
Tiesto, a frequent visitor around these parts, makes his Pacific Northwest return after performing on the main stage at Paradiso last month. Like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’ll get from the legendary Dutchman. Last weekend at Tomorrowland, for example, he busted out some of his classic trance tunes, turning each one into progressive remixes. While we long for his return to the resurgent genre, who knows what he’ll have in store for Halloween weekend.
The rest of the lineup offers familiarity as well. Headhunterz and Daijo have made multiple Dooms Night appearances, including last year’s event, while Diablo and Brillz brought their respective tours to Van City last year as well. Whether you’re a Dooms Night veteran or not, fun will be had at the Coliseum. Time to start thinking about those costumes!
Pre-sale tickets to this all ages event go on sale Wednesday at noon PST, at a price yet to be announced. General admission tickets will go on sale Friday at noon as well. Keep it posted here, or the event’s Facebook page, for any, and all, updates (official after parties anyone?). What do you think about this Dooms Night lineup?
Important things happen in Pacific Northwest nightlife, and DMNW will send you alerts!
