Black Tiger Sex Machine has carved quite the niche for them the last few years with their signature dark electro vibes. Appropriately, their shows have been attributed to attending church, albeit a dark and twisted version. BTSM consists of Montreal born trio Marc Chagnon, Julien Maranda and Patrick Barry. The trio are also the label heads for Kannibalen Records, which has signed acts such as Snails, Dabin, and Apashe.
For BTSM the year started out strong with a killer set at EDCLV, and following that set was their debut at Paradiso Festival, at which they announced they’d be returning to the PNW in October. We all hoped it was true, and now it is! The trio in tiger helmets are indeed coming back to grace Seattle with their unholiness.
Mark your calendars! October 6th is the day, Showbox Sodo is the place, and 7:30pm is the time. With support from Yookie, Kai Wachi, and Sullivan King, this lineup brings the best from Kannibalen and beyond, with bass so heavy it will have you headbanging on the front rails. So bring your friends and all your wickedness, as Seattle is about the get saved! Tickets go on sale July 19th, so don’t sleep; this show will not have tickets for long! With that said, who all caught their fire set at Paradiso and are equally excited to see them in a smaller venue? Sound off in the comments below!
Important things happen in Pacific Northwest nightlife, and DMNW will send you alerts!
