In a summer dance event like none other here in Seattle, the historic Smith Tower is opening up it’s 22nd floor next month for a day of music, friends and sunshine. And you are cordially invited!
Scheduled to run from 2PM to 10 PM Saturday July 8th, the Sky High: Above the Sound day party will take place on the tower’s 22nd floor’s outdoor patio. Six local favorites will provide the soundtrack, spinning a variety of electronic dance music that will surely get you movin’ and groovin’. With temperatures FINALLY approaching “feels like Summer” status, guests are invited to wear something cool and comfortable to dance in. Sunglasses? STRONGLY encouraged, according to event organizers.
Last month, we got a taste of what it was like to party high up the Smith Tower. During the inaugural Upstream Music Festival & Summit, we hopped aboard the tower’s vintage elevators and went to the 18th floor for a night of live performances from some of Seattle’s best; 360 degree views of the city serving as the background. It truly was an event to remember, and if you missed out, here’s a chance to experience something similar!
21+ tickets are currently on sale, starting at $20. A small number of tickets will also be available at the door for $25, “depending on capacity.” Follow the event’s official Facebook page for any, and all, updates. Care to dance with us on the 22nd floor?
