If there’s one thing that Zedd does best, it’s pairing together his signature uplifting house sound with stirring vocals. This time around, he’s tagged Hayley Williams of Paramore for his latest single, “Stay The Night.” With tracks like “Clarity” and “Spectrum” already under his belt, Zedd has officially cemented his status as one of the top big room artists in the world.
With “Stay The Night,” we have a track that carries all the alluring aspects of Williams’ vocal talents while remaining surprisingly light on electronic elements. In an interview with MTV News, Zedd offered some insight into this.
“Although my music is electronic, it has a lot of influences from my past, which is all sorts of genres; I’ve been in a rock-metal band for a longtime, and I still feel like, personally, I have a lot of influence from that.”
Incorporating both classical and rock elements, it’s a single that demonstrates the movement that many house artists are taking towards instrumental-heavy production.
Although his performance in Seattle on September 29th is already sold out, we highly recommend doing what you can to find a ticket; you’re not going to want to miss this. You can download the full version of “Stay The Night” here, and can stream it below.
