Levitate Features in Bassnectar’s Latest ‘Night Owl Radio’ Mix

Taking over the latest episode of Insomniac’s ‘Night Owl Radio’, Bassnectar put together an incredible mix, featuring one of the bass-god’s remixes of Northwest-favorite Levitate. The duo have worked together multiple times in the past, with songs like Chasing Heaven and Level Up garnering spots on Bassnectar’s most recent albums. While Level Up continues to grow in popularity, both among fans and artists, it’s Bassnectar’s remix of Levitate’s tune God Status that makes its way into Night Owl Radio 057.

God Status, the title-track to Levitate’s early-2014 EP, is one of our favorite tunes from the Seattle-based artist. Bassnectar’s re-work fits right in with the high-quality projects the duo have put together in the past. Levitate joins the likes of Benga, Rusko, Beats Antique, and many other great artists to feature in the mix, putting him in great company. Toss in Level Up‘s appearances in Excision’s sets throughout the last couple of months, and Levitate’s year is going as well as any artist around.

Levitate, also known as Connor Tho, has put together an impressive 2016. With more than a handful of original songs, remixes, and some collaborations as well, he’s been busy. He’s showing no signs of slowing down, either. Levitate has released two new original works, Savages and New Breed in recent weeks, and we are always ready for more from one of our favorite local artists.
