Turkey, southern California sun, and trance? Sign us up! Although summer festival season is in full swing, it’s never too early to plan for the fall. One festival that is catching our attention? Insomniac’s Dreamstate: SoCal. Set to be the biggest Dreamstate festival yet, this year’s Thanksgiving Weekend rendition of America’s premier Trance extravaganza will feature three stages and a lineup that will span across all sub-genres, such as psy trance, orchestral trance, and progressive.
Instead of releasing a full lineup, the folks at Insomniac are, instead, playing the role of teasers. For the past week, five or six artist names have been revealed daily on social media. Noticeable acts include Paradiso 2016 acts Cosmic Gate and Andrew Rayel, as well as Bliss: The Awakening showstoppers MaRLo, Paul Oakenfold, Giuseppe Ottaviani and John O’Callaghan. With 5 more days left until the full lineup puzzle is finally complete, we’re on the edge of our seats, eagerly anticipating what surprises Dreamstate: SoCal will have in store. Tickets go on sale next Wednesday, with 2-day passes starting at $120. Event information, and daily lineups, can be found on the event’s official Facebook feed.
