We warned you, but did you catch the EDCLV 2016 lineup reveal on Night Owl Radio on Friday? We tuned in, and thanks to our own investigation as well as some help from Reddit user blondie232, we’ve got most of the lineup figured out!
Pasquale announced 215 artists, which according to him was “99% of the full lineup.” We can’t help but wonder, who is the 1%? We’ll have to wait until Monday when the full lineup & artwork are released into Internet Land.

As always, there are already complaints about a lack of certain artists, or not enough of a certain genre, thus proving that even the king of Insomniac is not immune to criticism. That being said, there is plenty to be excited about! The easy answer here is that basically everyone will be there, but highlights include Gouryella, Gaia, Ben Nicky, Jordan Suckley, Coone, Brennan Heart, Angerfist, Must Die!, Excision, Funtcase, Zedd, Ephwurd, RL Grime, Eric Prydz, Kaskade, Duke Dumont, Axwell /\ Ingrosso, Jauz, Dash Berlin, and Yellow Claw. That’s just a teeny tiny fraction of the lineup, too!
LIKE, DUDE. We’re basically speechless and can’t wait for three days of event coverage under the electric sky! We’ll add the lineup artwork as soon as it goes live.
In addition to making us Shazam our way to lineup excitement, Pasquale also let us know a bit about the stages. At the Neon Garden, expect 50 foot ceilings and a giant disco ball reflecting light and lasers. The BassPod stage will have not only fire, but water cannons to balance things out. We also really like the sound of a post-apocalyptic San Francisco for the Wasteland stage design. Circuit Grounds will be a 360 degree three-times-larger-than-last-year experience which will host a Dreamstate stage on Sunday.
[pullquote align=”right”]”All I can say is prepare yourself.” – Pasquale Rotella[/pullquote]
From what Pasquale had to say, it sounds like Kinetic Field itself should be a headliner. “[It’s] the biggest stage within EDC. It has largest production elements, it has the largest scenic elements. It’s 400 feet wide, it’s over 100 feet high. I’m hoping for the 20 Year Anniversary of EDC Las Vegas that we can blow your mind more than we ever have in the past. There’s an iconic piece that’s going to be in the middle of this stage that is using technology to the fullest. And it’s not going to be turned on right when you walk in. Later in the night, we’re gonna flip the switch. All I can say is prepare yourself.”
PREPARING.
