People of Tacoma, have you been yearning for a place to dance? Well we have good news for you! The space formerly known as Encore Nightclub has been remodeled, reimagined, and renamed. The grand opening of Emblem is set for October 31, after being closed since July 3 of this year.
For four and a half years Encore was the elite spot to dance in downtown Tacoma. However, upon being served a cease and desist order by Steve Wynn’s legal representation over the name “Encore,” they closed their doors to revamp the club. Those in charge saw it as an opportunity to raise the bar even higher.
During its active time, Encore was host to local talent as well as acts like LMFAO, Scene, IKON, Dangazone, and more. Though there is no shortage of events this Halloween, we can’t wait to check it out on opening night. There are two bars, tons of free seating, and VIP sections with great views.
If you’re interested in going out for the grand opening, there will be an extra hour to party thanks to the end of Daylight Savings Time. In addition to an extra long party, there’s also a costume contest offering three $500 prizes to the sexiest, best couple/group, and best overall costume. Check out the awesome sound, visuals, and lights of Emblem Nightclub in Tacoma this Halloween and stay tuned for our coverage on the grand opening.
For more information on the grand opening or the club in general, join the Facebook event page or check out their website.
Emblem is a 21+ establishment, so please bring a valid photo ID. DJ Phase will be playing the best of Trap, House, & Top 40 for you to enjoy until 2 am (and then 2 am again, as we turn our clocks back!) Doors open up at 9 pm, and the venue is located at 1025 Pacific Ave Tacoma, WA 98402. Maybe we’ll see you there!
What do you think, South sounders? Are you willing to give Emblem a chance?

The report is bright and clear, without any added useless facts or else.
The language is both brilliant and vivid, so the longer I see, the longer I do like it!
