Foundation Pauses For 3-Week Remodel, Set For October Grand Reopening

Part of the growth of any nightclub is in how its design evolves over its many years, and Seattle knows this just as well as any nightlife scene. Already, we’ve seen a large scale rework from Trinity Nightclub down in Pioneer square, as well as a brand new reimagining of Volume’s space marked by the launch of Stage. Next on the list is none other than Foundation Nightclub, who’ll be going through their first massive remodel since they transformed the space formerly known as Venom three years ago.

To start the process, Foundation will be closing for 3 weeks, beginning on September 20th. The club will then reopen on Thursday October 8th, with none other than PNW favorite Kaskade as he kicks off his Automatic Tour. From there, we’ll get the M Machine and Ghastly on Friday October 9th, with Saturday’s artist yet to be announced. Tickets for Friday and Saturday will be available over here soon (Thursday’s grand re-opening is all sold out). Per Foundation owner/partner Ian Jurgensen:

Our mission has always been to exceed customer expectations by delivering an unparalleled atmosphere. This is why we are ecstatic to unveil the changes we’ve been working on and can’t wait to welcome fans to join us in celebrating our new vision.

With venues around Seattle beginning to step up their game, we could be in for a new age of club life here in the Pacific Northwest. Stay tuned for more info as it comes in, but needless to say we’re excited to see what’s in store for what’s become a nightlife fixture in our fair city.
