Heavenly bass-heavy Modestep is gracing Seattle with another dynamic tour, stopping by The Crocodile on September 20. After raging their way through the UK, Modestep has crossed the pond to share their grimy harmonic style with their American comrades.
As dubstep became increasingly popular, Modestep was riding the bass wave, gaining momentum with heavy hitters like Skrillex. To date, the dub-rock brothers have more than 50 million views on YouTube. After the release of their single Sunlight in 2013, Modestep achieved a new level of stardom. While they have been grouped together with the likes of Pendulum and other heavy dub hitters, Modestep has a unique UK sound that just flows; each year their sound evolves and their dub builds more grime. This has been a busy year for Modestep with the release of multiple EPs including Machines, Rainbow, and the most recent London Road.
As the music evolves, their show evolves with them, enhancing the progression of bass and sound. Seattle can count on this being a show not to be missed. DMNW is teaming up to give tickets to one lucky winner. Enter the contest and check out the London Road EP below. Will you be griming with Modestep? Let us know in the comments below!
