The warm weather, the new tunes, and incessant summer planning are all signals that festival season is indeed upon us. With the passing of two of dance music’s most popular annual getaways, Ultra Music Festival and the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, we’re well on our way to Paradiso and the rest of the festivals that surround our summer experience. This is a time to dream, to plan, and prepare ourselves for the incredible memories we’ll be making.
Unfortunately, as any experienced festival-goer will gladly explain, things don’t always go to plan. From long-lines, set-time conflicts, bathroom issues, and a number of other potential ‘code reds’ that threaten to derail our dream vacations, there’s a lot of potential hazards for ravers to deal with. Thankfully, the people over at College Humor put all of our worst festival nightmares into a hilarious two-minute video, providing some much-needed comic relief to our stress-inducing festival planning sessions. Succinctly providing all of the reasons to avoid festivals all together, the video isn’t enough to keep us from attending our festivals of choice this summer.
