It’s a summer of cat-themed music, although Mord Fustang’s newest release is a little more sincere than the Dillon Francis/Kill the Noise collaboration that created a track made up completely of horrific cat mewing. “Something Right Meow” gets back to his electro-house roots, taking you a journey that sounds like it should begin somewhere dark, dirty, and with lots of dancing.
The track is the extended version of a release, entitled “just wanna give you something right meow,” that was uploaded to Soundcloud four months ago. With an added two minutes, it’s equal parts classic deadmau5 and dirty electro beats, and gives us a very good reason to be excited when Mord makes his way back to Seattle in September.
