Notorious EDM bad boy Joel Zimmerman aka Deadmau5 – yeah, we know he would hate being associated with the term EDM – delivered a surprising holiday gift to one eager fan. Deadmau5 supporter, known only as Ryan, ingeniously sent an unused disposable camera to Zimmerman’s address at the newly built mau5 compound. What he got back were some pretty A-grade photos peeking into the home life of a famous producer. Included were some ridiculous selfies, some shots of the home studio, and of course, Meowingtons – a cat almost as famous as the man himself!

Deadmau5 is a publicity expert. He makes headlines for pretty much everything, including, but not limited to: becoming an Uber driver, blasting the sultan of Trance, and even going so far as to prank attendees at Ultra Miami. And that was just 2014! Love, hate, or have absolutely no opinion of Zimmerman, the Troll King, it is clear that he loves his fans. Just a couple of months ago, he replaced and upgraded the gear of a fan/fellow DJ who was stabbed and robbed after a gig.
