We just had our minds blown by Above and Beyond at ABGT 100 and have been savoring We Are All We Need and anticipating the album of the same name, but Tony, Jono and Paavo aren’t done with us yet. On the most recent installment of Pete Tong BBC Radio 1 we were treated to the full length debut of the next hit All Over The World and shortly after Above and Beyond released the Club Mix of the same beautiful track.
When it comes to vocalists Above and Beyond really know what works well over their tracks and this case is no different. We’re greeted by the familiar vocals of Alex Vargas, whose voice we’ve come to love on Sticky Fingers and Blue Sky Action and we couldn’t be happier about it. It was an incredible thrill to have both versions of the track out so quickly, but this is what you can expect when producers collaborate with their friends to drop their tracks first.
Those who attended or listened to ABGT100 will no doubt recognize this track as it was road tested there to much acclaim. Vargas’ beautiful voice lifts our spirits to the chorus, where the classic Above and Beyond build wraps its arms around you and sends you soaring up to the sky. We are beyond excited for what Above and Beyond have in store for us in the new year, especially once they hit the road in North America.
Their We Are All We Need tour kicks off in just a few short months and we cannot wait to see what they bring to each stop of the tour and look forward to having them part of more Small Moments Like These in our lives next year. We have no doubt that they’ll make each night special and we can’t wait to do so.
