This is a win win for us. Music is obviously a huge part of our lives and the music that we love comes from records. But we were once kids who were more than excited to create the coolest of castles and houses that our imagination would allow. Now a man has brought his love of vinyl and LEGO together in the best way possible. Using an estimated 2,000 Lego pieces, hayarobi has built a fully functioning LEGO turn table to play records on. Don’t get too excited, however, as we don’t foresee a “Rave of LEGO” tour anytime like the Rave of Thrones tour. The only part of the turn table that isn’t a LEGO piece is the phono cartridge (because we don’t think or know of LEGO ever creating one for their kits…yet). The creator of this masterpiece has named the record player “The Planet,” and is powered by a LEGO Power Functions Battery Box. This creativity and ingenuity excites us, and reminds us of how much talent is out there. What do you think of this man’s creation? Would you have one in your home?
