As talented as he is at kicking the proverbial hornets nest with his Twitter tirades, there’s no denying that Deadmau5 is a talented producer. We have our suspicions that it’s because of this talent that Deadmau5 gives himself permission to give zero f#&*s about anything he doesn’t deem worthy of his time. With that being said, when something is deemed worthy of that time he throws all that he can into it, as seen with the addition of vocals to The Veldt and his epic coffee runs. What’s the next adventure for Joel Zimmerman, the man behind the Mau5 head? He has just made an announcement on Twitter about a 45,000 square foot studio he plans to build just a hop, skip, and Meowclaren ride away from his new mansion.
where im putting EDM money. less club gigs, a few epic stage shows, a 45,000sqft studio complex for actual musicians. pic.twitter.com/GKxXVKwBau

At time of writing this is all that is known about his next planned endeavor, but history has taught us that if Deadmau5 is hellbent on making something happen there’s a high chance that it will be so. We’re intrigued by what he’s teased out. What does he mean by actual musicians? Will we see some collaborations with those who use more “traditional” instruments ala Pretty Lights with the Colorado Symphony at Red Rocks? By a few epic stage shows does he mean they might happen in this mystery complex? 45,000 square feet is no laughing matter, the footprint after all would be larger than his nearby mansion as seen on the survey photo. Whatever he does with it, we can’t wait to see what comes out. Maybe we’ll get lucky and get a sneak peak in, or maybe he’ll decide to hide in his secret bunker. What do you think of this latest adventure? What do you want to come of it?
