Seattle-based producer and DJ Randall Glenn has released his unheard FreakNight set from the cancelled second day of the event. The San Francisco-native was slated to open up the Midway of Mayhem stage on Saturday, and even got 40 minutes into his set before being notified that the doors were still closed and would stay that way for the remainder of the event. Despite the cancellation, Glenn wants his FreakNight debut to be heard by all, so he’s released his spectacular set via Soundcloud as a free download.
It’s a shame that Glenn’s set couldn’t be heard live, as it’s as fantastic of a FreakNight debut as anyone could ask for. Providing a beautiful blend of trance and progressive house, Glenn showed that, even on a stage like FreakNight, he fits right in. He also recently opened up for the legendary ATB at Foundation Nightclub for their two-year anniversary celebration. If you’re bummed you missed Glenn at FreakNight and the recorded version of the set isn’t enough, don’t fret, as there’s another chance to catch him live this weekend. He’ll be performing at the Corbu Lounge on November 7th from 12 a.m. – 1 a.m.
