We wrote a while back about the rumors of Tomorrowland branching out to Brazil and there was initially some doubt that there would be enough demand for the festival to find success in that country. Well, naysayers be damned, tickets went on sale September 6, 2014 and in under 3 hours the festival had already sold out. Many are hopeful that the festival isn’t really completely sold out and another allotment of tickets will be released later. We unfortunately have no confirmation of this, but will definitely point fans in the direction of tickets should we catch wind of any available to be won.
Taking place May 1-3, 2015 in beautiful Sao Paolo, Brazil, Tomorrowland Brazil promises to be a beautiful extension of the famed festival of the same name that takes place in Boom, Belgium. Those who are lucky enough to obtain temporary citizenship of Dreamville, the fabled campsite of Tomorrowland will get to spend 5 beautiful days at the festival.
As of now no lineup information has been officially released for Tomorrowland Brazil, but if it’s anything like the usual Tomorrowland experience you can expect all the biggest names in EDM as well as a few surprises. If you’re one of the lucky few who scored a ticket, congratulations. The rest of us will get to live vicariously through you and hope there’s a live stream and live sets we can enjoy. With India also being rumored to be another Tomorrowland site where else in the world would you like to see the festival extend?
