If you have had the pleasure of attending one of Feed Me’s epic shows (or if you are just nuts about his music), you know how big of a deal these upcoming NW stops are! Jon Gooch, who also goes by the aliases Spor and Seventh Stitch, has created quite a following over the years by churning out some of the best and most creative music in the drum and bass, electro house and dubstep categories, not to mention others. Releases such as Feed Me’s Big Adventure and his latest album Calamari Tuesday are a great example of the British producer’s unique, artistic touch and ability to seamlessly cross genres. His most recent endeavor, Feed Me’s Psychedelic Journey, is a well rounded 4-track EP that showcases his latest musical direction through a versatile array of melodic, tranquil sounds and pulsing beats that fail to disappoint. This, along with a 30 minute mix that was featured on Pete Tong’s radio show, have been keeping fans on the edge of their seats in anticipation of Feed Me’s Psychedelic Journey Tour.
To match the masterful tunes, a stage set up was created to follow Feed Me on his touring adventures. The ‘With Teeth’ experience has become a wildly successful feature and for no small reason! Playing behind a gigantic set of teeth that display visuals going with the beat, Jon Gooch is able to give fans an even more memorable (and jaw dropping) show that they are not soon to forget! To give you a better idea of what to expect, the video below goes more in depth on how the ‘Teeth’ came to be and the production involved.
There is no telling when Feed Me will be back again in the NW (or even on tour) so don’t miss out on this chance to see one of the more talented DJs and producers around while you still have the chance (trust us!). Whether you are at the Portland show September 9th or in Seattle for his September 10th visit, we hope to see you there!!
