[dropcap size=small]H[/dropcap]enry Steinway (aka Clockwork, RL Grime) has been a busy individual, bouncing between his two personas on a regular basis. But that hasn’t kept him from steadily putting out new tracks, his newest being Signals. While recording, Clockwork typically avoids working with vocalists, although this time he featured Taylr Renee to create a slightly different vibe with Signals. Released earlier this week on Dim Mak, it’s an interesting step in a newer direction for the man of many music hats.
Proving it was the right move, Taylr’s captivating vocals shine on Signals and really emphasize Clockwork’s production ability throughout the song. How Taylr is accompanied by a simple yet powerful piano ballad shapes the emotions that run freely throughout the track. Remember the last time we saw Clockwork in Seattle? We hope we see him back in the Pacific Northwest soon!
