It’s not every day you find yourself with a group of artists who really test the limits of electronica and you find nothing but that with DJ Shadow and intergalactic space alien Bleep Bloop. Connecting recently after a run in at Emissions Festival this past May, they’ve managed to throw together one hell-of-a trap tune at Bleep Bloops studio in his home. The outcome is bizarre, rare and unique. Their qualities as hip-hop producers shine as they attack the ears of thousands with a fuck ton of bass, 808s, pads and psychedelic sounds.
DJ Shadow hasn’t changed one bit, even after being kicked off the decks last year for not playing commercial to the crowd at club Mansion in Miami. Futuristic is his middle name and if this is a sign of what’s to come from the powerhouse and new up and comer Bleep Bloop, we’ll gladly have our ears ready for more.
