Bass fans don’t need their ears on the ground to hear news is coming. They can feel it. This morning, the floor was positively shaking when Identity Festival, a bass festival that dropped off the map after 2012, made a post on its Facebook page announcing a traveling festival called Safe in Sound, which will be touring in over 20 North American cities this fall.
The lineup includes headliners Adventure Club, Destroid, and Flux Pavillion. The headliners will be joined by special guests including Doctor P, Excision, and Zeds Dead (notably, the festival’s website provides the caveat that the special guests lineup will vary from city to city). There will also be support from UZ, Caked Up, Downlink and Terravita. The Facebook post promises a 150,000 watt PK Sound system to deliver an impressive dose of bass to the face.
In the PNW, we’ll see Safe in Sound in the Tri-Cities, Spokane, Boise, and lastly in Seattle, the weekend before FreakNight. For the full lineup and the option to sign up for news from the festival regarding tickets and more, visit the festival’s website and join their mailing list.
