Michael Vincent Patrick & Theodore Paul Nelson of Designer Drugs know a little about the dance muisc scene, going from underground raves in Pennsylvania to playing at massive festivals on almost every continent around the world. The duo started finding their way when they first started attending raves that none other than world class producer & DJ Dieselboy hosted. Finding their roots by attending shows with musical acts that would come play from the UK weekly, Designer Drugs set out on their own musical careers.
We’re both into music and then about the same time we both started to go raves, which I liked cause it was underground music. We were both really heavy into drum & bass at the time so like Headrush, all those guys, everybody in the UK pretty much, Dieselboy because he was from the same area as we were so we had the opportunity to see him DJ quite often. He [Dieselboy] used do a party in Philly every week called Platinum, and he would have all the UK artist come in every week, it was just crazy.
