Pete Tong gave Deadmau5 fans a sweet surprise when he aired a snippet of Deadmau5’s new track Avaritia during his BBC Radio One broadcast. His minute and half long sneak peak showcased what to expect from Deadmau5’s new album.
Despite us only getting a small glimpse, Deadmau5 is “back on form” as Pete Tong would say. Avaritia has a good range with its uplifting intro which transitions into a dark downtempo, bringing back memories of the mouse playing in the rain at Ultra (Like the “Animal” that he is).
His full album While (1<2) is set to release June 17th on iTunes. Fans can pre-order his album starting May 20th and instantly receive his new track Avaritia. If this any indication of what we are going to see from the mouse, we are primed for a great album.
