In the past year or two, chances are you have probably heard of the highly popular act Disclosure. Brothers Guy & Howard Lawrence created this unstoppable force just over four years ago combining both DJ sets and their one-of-a-kind live show with various instruments to accompany them onstage. In just over 4 years, Disclosure have been lucky enough to perform virtually anywhere they want including festivals like Lollapalooza, Coachella, and Sasquatch! Disclosure has also been guest-stars on radio shows such as Pete Tong’s BBC Radio 1. Even before their debut album was released in June 2013, Disclosure were an international success here in the states – something that is very difficult to do with the constant release of new music.
Now Disclosure are back and have collaborated with upcoming producer Friend Within to bring us their new gem, The Mechanism. Featuring The Eden Project, it will be out April 15th on Beatport. While you can still instantly tell this is a Dislclosure track, they definitely took things to a deeper level by bringing a gritty bassline with an underground feel to the track that will put a smile on any fan of garage. Having a song that revolves around constant loops but Disclosure & Friends Within did this in a way that is highly enjoyable and entertaining. You be the judge. We can only hope more music like this makes its way back into dance music over these next several years.
