[textblock style=”3″]One intrepid Dance Music Northwest team member is here in New York City for the weekend to paint you a picture. That picture will show you firsthand just what it’s like when a West Coast raver accustomed to falling asleep soon after Foundation’s hard 1:45am curfew is exposed to the sleep deprivation and insanity of an East Coast nightlife he doesn’t fully grasp or understand.[/textblock]
Day 3 of Dance Music Northwest’s East Coast adventure kicked off with our first real taste of the nightlife, and what an experience it was. “New York City’s largest and longest running nightclub” of approximately 125 years, Webster Hall graciously opened its doors to us for a night to remember. Director of Operations Gerard McNamee (known to the scene as Gerard Gerard) took us on a full tour of the legendary venue, giving us the lowdown on its storied history.
