Patrick Hagenaar is one of the talented group of fast-rising DJ/producers hailing from Holland.
His musical output, signature love of bold clothing and pop art, plus interactive themed parties collectively form Colour Code, Patrick’s fast rising lifestyle brand for those who want to live their lives in full colour.
Patrick served his DJ apprenticeship at some of London’s key venues, meaning his music is inspired by a mix of the big room Dutch house sounds from his homeland, with a UK flavoured twist of hi octane hooks and devastating melodies.
His first release, in 2008 (‘What Would We Do’, by Hagenaar & Albrecht), went to the top of the charts across all major download stores and a string of big releases on labels like Atlantic/Big Beat, Spinnin’, Hed Kandi, EMI and Ministry of Sound followed.
2010’s ‘I Won’t Let You Down’ was the toast of the dance music press and more recently, Patrick’s solo work saw: ‘L.O.V.E’ hit the Top 10 on Beatport and Nr2 spot in the UK club chart.
His track ‘Another Chance’ received over 200k hits on YouTube within 2 weeks and the Nr3 spot on TrackitDown.net, while DMC Buzz chart Nr1 ‘You got Me’ received support from David Guetta, Tiesto and BBC Radio 1.
His latest release ‘My Love’ on his own imprint ‘Colour code’ has just been premiered by no other than ‘Tiesto’ on clublife 330!
He’s remixed Nr1 records for Martin Solveig, HAIM, Professor Green, Ke$ha and Wynter Gordon, with his remixes of Rudimental’s ‘Feel The Love’ and ‘Waiting All Night’ scoring over 100 plays on BBC Radio 1.
As key resident for Ministry of Sound for 4 years, Patrick has fans across all continents. His solid foundation and that unwavering positive attitude ensure the dancefloors of the world are in for a treat. Watch this Dutchman fly!
