If you have heard the super smooth bass of Mr. Carmack, and the sultry subtlety of Esta, you are going to fall in love with the funky, yet totally sexy work of Mikos Da Gawd. If you haven’t checked out any of these artists yet, you better turn your speakers up and get your mouse clicking. Fairly new to the scene, we haven’t heard much from Mikos Da Gawd, but we are totally digging his style.
What we love about his latest release called ‘Sparagus, is the creativity put behind it. The genre is labeled as “mouth watering” and we can vouch that it is drool-worthy indeed. Synths roll like waves across a subtle bass and a steady clap, and then crash into a funky, unconventional beat accompanied by spaced out leads; all before returning to the groovy fluctuation of sounds.
‘Sparagus is also a tribute to the San Francisco based producer’s uncle who recently passed away. We are sure that he would be incredibly proud to hear this melodious memorial, and will be watching as Mikos Da Gawd blows up in 2014. ‘Sparagus is one vegetable we don’t mind finishing on our dinner plate; we’re hungry for more!
