Local Greyspot releases Mag 77

Music

Greyspot Drops Dark, Dreamy ‘Mag 77’ (Local Spotlight)

When local Seattle product Greyspot nearly chopped off his thumb with a Mag-77 Skilsaw, we imagine the first thought that popped into his head probably wasn’t “I should be a DJ.” But after rehabilitating his hand he devoted his efforts to musicmaking, and so the aptly named Mag 77 was born. After a year and a half, it’s finally ready for the world.

Building with dark drums and a steady whirring backbeat, it’s a track reminiscent of its namesake. Greyspot may have started as a carpenter, but if his first release is indicative of what we can expect, he’s a local who’ll be around for a long time. Experience Mag 77 below and keep an eye out for this Seattleite on the rise by following him on Soundcloud.
