It’s always wonderful when we find music that hits chords inside of our musically inclined hearts. Especially ones that spark memories of our beloved past, or throw you into a day-dream worth a thousand of your sleeping dreams.
Formerly known as Remix Artist Collective, RAC now consists of solo artist, André Allen Anjos. He is originally from Portland (naturally) and has hundreds of remixes under his belt ranging from unique, original material and classic, indie favorites.

The latest release off of RAC’s Don’t Talk To EP, is a warm breeze under a summer sun. Featuring vocalist Katie Herzig, “We Belong” is beautiful and full of feeling. Herzig’s voice floats lightly over this delicate, yet lovely tune, filling the tender melody with string instruments and soft murmurs. Fast forward to 3:45, where a soft build-up of strings explodes into a profusion of welcoming chords and a steady, comforting beating of drums. Dive into your deepest day-dream with “We Belong.”
