Aside from all the reasons you should already go see Catching Fire, we’ve got another one for you: The Soundtrack. This compilation is even more breath-taking than the last, including tracks from Phantogram, The Weeknd, Sia, and our lovely London favorite, Ellie Goulding. This 15-track Catching Fire album is definitely hot to the touch – and the sound. And Ellie Goulding’s featured track, Mirror, is arguably the most powerful of them all. Her unique, scratchy-yet-airy vocal touched with a haunting echo floats above the piano keys in the intro, and as the track develops, a bass-fueled melodic dubstep drop ignites and catches fire to your eardrums. Pretty fitting given the movie title, right?

This Ellie Goulding track is not only a prefect fit for the Catching Fire soundtrack, but it’s also sizzling preview of what’s to come for her 2014 US spring tour alongside fellow Londoners, Rudimental. Also on the album is US-based alternative rock band, Imagine Dragons, who will also be touring the Northwest this February. With so much great music stemming from Catching Fire‘s release, we can’t help but join the club and see it within the first week of releasing. Plus, as a bonus, Fandango is offering an impressive getaway sweepstakes by purchasing your tickets online. So, what more convincing do you need? Snag your tickets, warm up with the soundtrack, and let The Hunger Games begin!
