It’s A Trap! Wait…No, It’s All Trap Music Volume 2!

All Trap Music has released their second megamix, All Trap Music Volume 2, on Soundcloud, Spotify, Amazon and Itunes. Kings of the trap Major Lazer, Diplo, Flosstradamus and RL Grimes are all prominently featured. These big names pair well with other electronic and hip hop artists like Disclosure, A-Trak, Flux Pavilion, Childish Gambino and Busta Rhymes. Deep bass hits, a strong synth chorus and the well known trap whistle blend tracks flawlessly together throughout the free thirteen minute Soundcloud set.

CD 1 features the mysterious ƱZ, who remains an anonymous figurehead of the trap industry. Sporting a gold mask, black bandana, ball cap and hoodie in public, ƱZ refuses to reveal himself to his audiences, leaving them guessing about the true identity of the man behind the mask. The track featured on this album, Trap Shit V13, is available for free download on Soundcloud.

RL Grime earns a spot on CD 2, ending the album with his original mix, Shells, a fast-paced, deeply harmonic track intermittently fused with male vocals. His recent mix and tour with Baauer, Infinite Daps, was the subject of a THUMP documentary and is quickly becoming a pop-culture hit. According to Urban Dictionary, Daps is defined as, “The knocking of fists together as a greeting, or form of respect.”  If you were lucky enough to watch RL Grime play at Chop Suey earlier this year, you’ll have nothing but respect for the man.
