Norwegian house and techno producer Bjørn Torske is set to release his third EP in its trilogy set. The December release, entitled Kok (pronounced “cook”) follows suit to the trilogy’s previous two EPs, Kokning (2010) and Oppkok (2012), with an emphasis on analog gear. It differs, however, in that these tracks are built on a more organic and acoustic foundation with less programmed patterns than Torske’s previous albums. The result is a darker and more psychedelic sound, yet still very much Torske’s own. Below is one of the tracks, Setter, off off the upcoming EP.
The five-track Kok EP will be available digitally and on LP December 10th through Smalltown Supersound
