When Subtronics announced Cyclops Dome in Tacoma back in August, we almost couldn’t believe it! After walking into Tacoma Dome and looking at the stage design alone, we knew we were in for an unparalleled performance from the king.
Every track from Subtronics exploded our eardrums, and was paired with an array of lights, lasers and visuals that were perfectly choreographed. Some tracks including Touhou Riddim remix, Griztonics, and Omnidirectional are still stuck in our minds from the insane weekend, and how it electrified the entire crowd.

Support for both nights was insane. Night One went super hard and included Marauda, MUSTDIE! B2b Lil Texas, Ubur b2b Prosecute, and Skellytyn. We attended Night Two, which featured Distinct Motive, Black Carl b2b Austeria, Ternion Sound, Of The Trees as support with much more chill vibes.
Night Two ended at 12:55 am, as Subtronics stated he would continue playing music until he got in trouble. Night Two also featured Subtronics’ throwback set, featuring VIP remixes of many of his classic hits. Some of our favorites included Thermal Expansion, Senpai, and Nuclear Bass Face.
The stage featured five light panels constantly moving throughout the final performances each night. The mesmerizing panels moved up and down behind Subtronics throughout his sets. Subtronics’ production also added insane lasers, bone-rattling bass drops and mind-bending visuals.
The sound was great and varied in intensity while sitting in the bleachers vs dancing on the floor. Security lines moved very quickly and the staff was extremely friendly; just make sure to have a clear bag. The indoor space is huge, although getting a good space in the middle is always a tough feat, and as aging ravers the bleachers are our best friends. Dubstep shows get very rowdy, but the energy from the Cyclops Army was great and very PLURR.
The first ever Cyclops Dome was INCREDIBLE 🔥 Cyclops Army your energy was absolutely electric from start to finish ⚡️
We can’t wait to see you all next year for THREE nights on November 14th, 15th & 16th, 2024 ✨ pic.twitter.com/6xLe6NCgHt

This was the show all of us PNW bassheads were waiting for. We loved two nights of solo sets from the king, including the 30 minute extra encore night two. And we already know he will be back next year for Cyclops Dome II, November 14-16 2024. This is great news since his newly announced 2024 Tesseract tour does not include any West Coast stops. Hopefully he will be at Beyond Wonderland or Bass Canyon too!
Important things happen in Pacific Northwest nightlife, and DMNW will send you alerts!
