If you’ve been in the Seattle scene throughout the last decade, you’ll remember the days of Studio 7.
Now one of house music’s biggest names, Jauz continues to bring his knowledge of the decks to audiences everywhere. Already just about halfway through his current North American tour, Seattle is eager to welcome Jauz back after seeing him this past Halloween at Boo ’22. Back in October, Jauz took the stage to headline the Groove Graveyard inside Wamu Theater.
This Friday will be Jauz’s third Seattle appearance within the last year, and second time gracing the stage at Supernova. Last March, Seattle dove into the deep end with a night of upbeat bass house sounds. The sold out show was not one to miss, and makes us all the more anxious to see what’s in store for this year.
B/W
A duo that joined together in Seattle, they are now based in one of house music’s founding locations, Chicago. Last year they were featured on the local artists section of the Bass Canyon lineup, performing their set at the silent disco. One of their more popular tracks, Go Gadget, can be heard here.
Lola K
A Seattle native, Lola K is a becoming a more frequent name on Seattle house show lineups. Most recently, she was apart of a lineup created for a Seattle underground event on February 25. She’s released a handful of singles, and an EP last year; you can check her out here.
Pyromotive
Another Seattle native, Pyromotive also took part in last week’s underground house music event in Belltown. He was also another feature to last year’s Bass Canyon silent disco. He’s been frequently playing amongst Seattle’s underground house scene, and has published a fair share of releases that can be heard here.
