With the prehistoric dubstep mecca that is Lost Lands coming up soon, we’re highlighting three amazing acts from the Pacific Northwest that will be performing.
Kai Wachi
First, we have the heavy hitter and heavy lifter Kai Wachi from Boise, Idaho. With his latest album’s popularity and his tour in full swing, this set should be one for the books.
Kai Wachi has played Lost Lands for a few years now and has made each one better than the last. Any attendees of his last few performances at both Lost Lands and Bass Canyon can tell you that his introductions are always captivating and memorable. He will also be performing a back-to-back set with guitar shredding Los Angeles native, Sullivan King. The two will be playing under the moniker Meal Prep, and we can all expect to see a protein-fueled riot when these two take the stage.
KJ Sawka
Next up is the superstar percussionist and Destroid member KJ Sawka. Born and raised in Seattle, KJ has been a stalwart performer and musician in a number of acts throughout his impressive career, having already achieved legend status as part of Pendulum. He has played with the likes of Illenium, and of course the dubstep supergroup with Excision and Downlink, Destroid. Recently, he and his close friend Blake Lewis have formed house duo The Private Language. With practically an unlimited discography to choose from, this set will be sure to surprise and thrill listeners.
VRG
Lastly, we have VRG coming out of Boardman, Oregon. VRG’s career has had an incredible trajectory, quickly picking up speed in recent years with his 2019 and 2021 EDC appearances. VRG has had features on numerous remix albums and has an extensive catalog of singles. He has releases on Heavyweight Records, Subsidia, and Space Yacht, and his music has been played worldwide. With some of the heaviest trap tunes and craziest remixes around, this will be a set you will not want to miss.
