Monstercat Compound is coming back this year for the Vancouver, B.C. block party’s fourth annual rendition. The party’s host, B.C.-based label Monstercat, postponed the event during 2020 but the festivities this year will make up for lost time.
Monstercat Compound 2021 will include live electronic music across two stages with their largest and most diverse lineup yet, featuring never-before booked acts, new artists to Monstercat, and international favorites.

Join in this September 18, 2021 from 2pm-9pm for the Monstercat Compound block party. Festivities will take place at the Monstercat HQ in the Railtown district of Vancouver, B.C.
This free, all ages block party event takes place at Monstercat’s HQ in the Railtown district of Vancouver, B.C. Those planning to attend are encouraged to advance RSVP for free here. Premium passes are also available and include premium lounge access, a separate bar, separate toilets, better stage views, and a 3-month subscription to the label’s premium streaming and download service, Monstercat Gold. Lineup
This year’s event will feature a diverse lineup of electronic music artists. Notable names at the main stage include Vancouver-based award-winning producers The Funk Hunters, bass house producer Tony Romera ahead of his upcoming debut album, and future bass artist Sabai, who’s earned over 17 million streams on YouTube since his 2019 Monstercat debut. Other talent includes Eminence, OBLVYN, Rylan Taggart, Sam Steele, and more.
The second stage, the Westwood Recording Stage, will be welcoming Kotek, Defunk, Case of the Mondays, So Sus, Shylow, and Sivz. along with Twitch artists Jessu & Pyka.
Artists run everywhere from bass to instrumental electronic to funk, so you’re sure to find their favorite kind of electronic music. Beyond that, you might find something new. Details about the full lineup can be found at Monstercat.com/compound.
Food, art, beer, video games, and more
The Block Party will also showcase local Vancouver, B.C. vendors. Visitors will be able to enjoy diverse food trucks, spacious beer gardens, notable street artists decorating giant wooden Monstercats live on the grounds, and the return of the Monstercat Street Piano created by Roland Sound and Monstercat’s own design team. There will also be educational career-building and NFT panels sponsored by MusicBC, and an air-brushed tattoo station by JCI. A gaming zone by The Gaming Stadium will also be returning, which features four-person Rocket League battles, Just Shapes and Beats, Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat arcade games, and more.
Monstercat excited to host their Compound event return
