This weekend, do yourself a favor and take a listen to Luca Lush and VARI‘s new melodic bass collab. Out on SLANDER’s newly-formed Heaven Sent label, this track is sure to keep you in a great mood all weekend. Listen to Spectral Sequence out now, and check out our review below.
At its core, Spectral Sequence is exactly the kind of track we’d expect on SLANDER’s label. Packed with heavy synths and big drops characteristic of the “heaven trap” sound SLANDER’s made a home for, Luca Lush and VARI execute the track in a big way. Pumping riffs and melodic vocal samples round out this futuristic-leaning cut that’s easy to leave on repeat.
Get to know the artists behind the collab
Luca Lush has made a name for himself as a jack-of-all-trades producer in multiple genres. Some tracks are trap, some speedhouse, some future bass, some a little mix of all three. He’s also well known for tackling remixes from hugely popular artists and rising talent. Even as he bends genres like taffy, his releases all share a common synth-laden sound.
VARI also hops on this track to lend it some heavier bass. With only a handful of releases and remixes, this up-and-comer from Oklahoma has had a big year. Garnering recent support from Mat Zo and the NGHTMRE’s Gud Vibrations label also run with SLANDER, he’s poised to continue the forward momentum.
One of the last shows to hit Seattle before the coronavirus pandemic, Luca Lush played Valentine’s Day 2020 at the Q Nightclub. Now with this new track under his belt, we hope he’ll make a stop back in the PNW as soon as possible.
If you’re looking for something to match the sunny sky weekend mood, be sure to check out Spectral Sequence. Above all, this is a track that will keep you in good spirits throughout the weekend. Listen to Luca Lush and VARI’s Spectral Sequence, out now on Heaven Sent.
