Nearly five years into the making, “Enormous: The Gorge Story,” will air at a theater near you this August!
An announcement this good couldn’t have come at a better time as we all wish dearly to return The Gorge. Until it’s safe for us to travel to our second home once again, getting to experience “Enormous: The Gorge Story” can hold us over! This indie-documentary retraces the Gorge Amphitheater’s humble beginnings to its current status as a world renowned venue.
When “Enormous: The Gorge Story” released their postponement, they promised to return even better than before. Making good on that promise comes exciting new footage, interviews and more, all ready for their world premiere.
The first addition is “The Enormisodes,” five mini-documentaries on our star, The Gorge Amphitheater. Next up are exclusive interviews with Hozier, Phantogram and Portugal The Man; all artists who played their fair share of magical weekends. They’ve even revealed that a blooper reel is included, featuring the likes of Dave Matthews Band, Jason Mraz and Pearl Jam’s Mike McCready- and more!
The documentary comes from creative minds of Nic Davis and Tim Williams. They began this project on February 23, 2014 and have since captured some nostalgic moments.
Recognized through the EDM community for hosting both Paradiso, Bass Canyon, and more, the Gorge is point of pride for us all here in the PNW. It serves as both an escape and a foundation for our community, one we can’t wait to see again someday!
Official dates for the screening have yet to be released. However, you can head over to their website right now to watch a sneak peak! You’ll get to sign up to receive updates about the screening and the film as it arrives, as well as watch a clip from from “Enormisode 01: Creation.”
